We were curious, so we asked the editors of Australia's best-selling design and home decorating publications to tell us about their dream bathrooms. David has worked in the interior design industry for more than 25 years.
"When offered the opportunity to design my dream bathroom, I immediately conjured ideas for a bathroom garden with lush vegetation, with Hadrian's Villa playing part in my inspiration. I sketched a concept, which was then developed with Geoff. I was keen to keep the design simple with restrained colours and natural tones, essential elements only and limited accessories."

"When I sat down with David he had a very clear idea of what he wanted. The space would be a walled garden open to the sky. We chose a palette of natural materials: stone, water, plants & light. The refined fixtures from Alape, Axa & Gessi complement these materials to give an overall impression of understated elegance. Sustainability was a key consideration for David, with natural ventilation, natural lighting during the day and low lighting at night."
