The Couples battling it out on 'The Block'

Mark and Duncan’s Ensuite Win

Last episode, the contestants from The Block battled it out and finished renovating their dream ensuite bathrooms.

The winning bathroom went to Mark and Duncan who created an elegant, linear, inviting space. The judges were inspired by their product selection and clever use of space.

They opted for a large wet room style shower, which they claimed was important for their stature. “A big shower is important, as we’re big blokes,” they joked after their win.

As the official bathroom supplier, we were thrilled to help the contestants bring their dreams to life - Reece bathroom life™ consultant Jade Faulkner was the lucky lady who got to assist Mark and Duncan with their product selection.

“Space-saving and sleek design was a key consideration, so the Omvivo Linea single washplane basin was the perfect solution for the ensuite,” said Jade.

“The washplane sits beautifully alongside three Kado Lux heated towel rails, the feature of their bathroom. They loved the Axa Due BTW close-coupled toilet suite for its square lines and tall profile and the Phoenix Kubus tapware completed the look perfectly.”

So, with a win under their belts, are Mark and Duncan now favourites to take the title? There are still a number of rooms left to design so it is anyone’s game, but the boys are certainly off to a flying start.

Stay tuned to bathtime™ as we unveil the master bathrooms and keep you up-to-date with the latest bathroom news from The Block.
