Degrees - HVAC-R and Refrigeration Latest News

The Coolgardie Safe was invented over 100 years ago, they say, by Arthur Patrick McCormick at (obviously) Coolgardie, in Western Australia. McCormick noticed that a bottle covered with a wet bag cooled its contents, and that if it was placed in a breeze, the bag would dry quicker, and the bottle would get colder. He’d stumbled upon the principle of evaporative cooling.

These days as you know things have become a little more sophisticated. As we see it, our job at Degrees is to keep you abreast of all the developments in the world of heating, ventilation air-conditioning and refrigeration, as well as covering off the more light-hearted moments of the HVAC/R trade.
