Victaulic AGS Couplings are the key part of a revolutionary mechanical pipe joining system. They feature a patented wedge-shaped groove, which is deeper and wider than any other groove system making it the strongest and most dependable mechanical piping joining system for 14-24"/350-600 mm pipe. Pipes joined this way can handle higher end loads, with a high pressure rating of up to 350 psi/2410 kPa, with a nominal three-to-one safety factor.
All AGS couplings, whether rigid or flexible, feature a two-piece housing design and are secured with just two bolts. The patented groove facilitates proper coupling positioning. The result is faster, easier pipe joining which allows you to optimize your crew size and mix on the job and manage your labour risk better. What’s more, the AGS mechanical pipe joining system is safer because it’s flame-free, so there are no hazardous air pollutants associated with welded systems.
