High blood pressure is a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease, which kills more than 50,000 Australians each year. And many Australian men could soon be saved from heart attack and stroke by these smart (although strikingly unsexy) underpants from Philips. Blood pressure is monitored by sensors in the waistband that detect the speed of blood flow.

We’re waiting for Yakka to introduce the first blood pressure monitoring overalls.
