The Block 2024: Ricky and Haydn's bathroom reveals
Best mates Ricky and Haydn bring a potent mix of plumbing and technology know-how to House 03. They might be known for their sense of humour, but these two are serious contenders with a strong bathroom reveal that effortlessly blends form and function.
Ricky & Haydn's main ensuite
Ricky and Haydn’s Main Ensuite was a major drama in 2024, with the boys left devastated when building challenges with their trades meant an unfinished bathroom. Happily, the redo meant a fabulous result for Ricky and Haydn. The boys chose a stunning selection of products, with the ISSY Adorn vanity customised with a Grace marble inset handle. The huge double vanity is fabulous for storage, whilst the generous, twin Omvivo Villa Thin Edge counter basins mean no fights over toothpaste in the sink. The warm timber tones were complemented by Milli’s brushed nickel finish. This colourway was used across both the Milli Pure tapware and the Milli Mood showers – a ceiling shower for a luxurious showering experience and a hand shower that’s ideal for cleaning.

Ricky & Haydn's powder room
Ricky and Haydn’s powder room made the most of its intimate size by opting for curved silhouettes, such as the Kado Neue Arch Mirrored Shaving Cabinet. The boys carried through their love for coloured tiled walls in this week’s room reveal, opting for a soft terracotta theme for their powder room. The warm colour palette was cleverly carried through with the Milli Pure Progressive Mixer and Milli Mood accessories in a glowing brushed nickel. This small but powerful powder room really packed a punch with clever inclusions like a hidden power point (spoiler alert: it’s in the cabinet) and a sleek tucked Kado Lux toilet that saves room with an in-wall cistern.

Ricky & Haydn's mezzanine ensuite
Colour was the order of the day in Ricky and Haydn's mezzanine ensuite, with the boys choosing sunny yellow as their feature shade, reflected also in the light wood of the ISSY Blossom vanity that created a real warmth to the space. The vanity was cleverly paired with the matching ISSY Halo Mirror Cabinet for a cohesive look, featuring the same shapes and luxurious timber finish. The earthy, beachy theme of Ricky and Haydn’s ensuite space was complemented by the Milli Pure range of Australian-made tapware, crafted from 85% recycled brass for a more sustainable approach.

Ricky & Haydn's main bathroom
Ricky and Haydn’s first Block bathroom is stunning to look at, and even more indulgent to use. The LAUFEN Sonar freestanding bath, with its unique ribbed texture and integrated storage shelf, serves as a statement piece that elevates the entire space. The duo cleverly continues the bath’s lines and symmetry throughout the bathroom with the intricate beaded timber of the ISSY Cloud vanity and tile choice. All coupled with a selection of Australian made Milli tapware and showers in brushed nickel, adding the final luxurious touch.
