A bathroom renovation is no small undertaking. However, it doesn’t have to be the hardest project in the world. With a little bit of planning and the right advice and expertise, you can master the renovation process pretty quickly. Here are 5 successful and stunning bathroom projects that prove your renovation dreams can come true.

1. House 9 Main Bathroom by Three Birds Renovations

“We didn’t follow one particular trend for this home,” say Three Birds. “It’s a real eclectic combo of Art Deco, a bit of modern French provincial with pops of luxe glam. Our overall vision was to give it charm and beauty through the use of colour. This vision followed through to the bathroom design too, where we used more colour than ever before to give the [main bathroom its] own special charm and wow-factor,” they say.

“The big decision in this room was choosing between a black or white freestanding bath.” The Birds opted for a Kado Lux Petite Freestanding Bath – a natural centerpiece in this bold and graphic room. The Issy Z1 slim-line vanity unit was chosen for its space saving qualities and ability to be customised, while the Issy Z8 Recessed Double Shaving Cabinet with its black-rimmed mirror offers “a sleek, modern take on shaving cabinet storage”.

2. The Block 2018 Master Ensuite by Kerrie and Spence

This ensuite takes its cues from the hotel inspired trend with bold traces of black-and-white. Renovators Kerrie and Spence looked to keep the design sleek and understated, with all the right highlights.

A Custom Glass Shower Screen distinguishes the shower zone. Kerrie and Spence have created depth and made a statement with Matte Black Milli Pure Tapware and Accessories and a Mizu Drift Twin Rail Shower. The Roca Inspira Square Vessel Basins offer both functionality and statement value – completing what was an episode-winning bathroom renovation.

3. Brighton Bathroom as seen in Love It or List It 2018

This beautiful bathroom, which aired on Foxtel Lifestyle Channel’s Love It or List It, on 3 October, fuses heritage architectural features with a contemporary interior renovation.

Adding a sense of sleek, modern luxe is the Kado Lussi Freestanding Bath complemented by an elegant Milli Pure Floor Mounted Bath Mixer in Matte Black. Bridging that contemporary and traditional look through a touch of living tumbles brass are the Milli Pure Wall Basin Outlets with matching Sussex Scala Wall Top Assembly mixers.

A cool expanse of slate grey flooring continues from dry to wet zone – creating a sense of spaciousness in what is otherwise a small space. Continuing that theme is the addition of a minimal yet generous Mizu Drift Overhead Shower and arm.

4. Albert Park Master Ensuite by Design Duo Online Series

The height of modern luxury with a distinct day spa vibe, this Albert Park Master Ensuite is defined by its indoor-outdoor appeal. Flanked by a lap pool and overlooking the rich greenery of a vertical garden, it conjures a sense of understated luxury and restrained beauty.

Grey flooring and walls create a restrained backdrop to the four-door Issy Halo vanity unit in black with matching Laufen Ino Counter Basins. Accents of gold are brought in through the lighting, tapware and shower. It’s the kind of bathroom renovation that makes you want to take the plunge!

5. Bexley New South Wales Bathroom by Maria Roussos

Teaming up with builder Greg Augerinos, Maria Roussos has designed a bright, white, light-infused bathroom. What began as a cramped and outdated space has been transformed into a clean-lined, storage savvy bathroom. Maria has freed up valuable floorspace with a sleek Issy Glide Wall Hung Vanity Unit. And the toilet has received a much-needed update with an organically shaped Axa Uno Back To Wall Floor Pan.

Maria has created a feature floor using directional tiling in variegated tones, bringing character into the space and distracting the eye from its tight confines.
