Making it rain, efficiently
The Rain Bird 5004 PLUS PRS rotor helps solve the problems of fluctuating water pressure in three ways. It has a flow shut-off device on top of the rotor to let you stop the flow of water to a particular head while the system is still in operation. This helps flush lines, marking location of heads for aeration and troubleshooting for leaks in laterals - all saving maintenance time.
Regulated pressure protects you from wasting water in high pressure situations. Every 35 kPa reduction in pressure saves 7% of water and
the Rain Bird 5004 PLUS PRS rotors have a fixed pressure of 310 kPa. It’s even useful in low or fluctuating pressure situations - it’s the perfect “everywhere” rotor.
By combining pressure-regulating stems with Rain Curtain™ nozzles, Rain Bird PLUS PRS rotors give you large droplets and even coverage that goes right where you want it. The end result is a level of distribution uniformity that the competition can’t match.
Ideal Distribution Uniformity
Rain Bird PLUS PRS rotors provided much more even coverage than other equivalent rotors in the market in a standard industry test for distribution uniformity.
• Easy Installation and Adjustments - Arc and radius adjustments can be made from the top of installed units with a standard flathead screwdriver.
• Built To Last - Oversized wiper seal for longer life, self-flushing port and heavy-duty construction with strong spring to ensure retraction in the cover assembly, O-rings and seals.
