ARBS 2016 ATTRACTS RECORD CROWDS27 June 2016
Visitors flock to see new products and hands-on demos. ARBS 2016 offers a focus on innovation and emerging trends in the built environment. It’s a chance to see the latest products, talk to manufacturers and distributors about new innovations, and network with peers at its informative and leading edge seminar program.
This year’s seminar program included topics such as the Impact of big data on building management and operation; Building wellness; Safety in design for HVAC&R and operation; and the HFC phase down in Australia.
The Reece Group had a large presence at ARBS with Actrol’s stands and café linked to adjoining brands such as Rothenberger, Conex Bänninger, Metalflex, IMI, Rehau, Auspex, Purmo, Sime and Walraven – all on display.
As part of the ARBS presentation Conex Bänninger demonstrated MaxiPro, a new product which will be launching in the coming months. The launch was the first glimpse of this revolutionary product worldwide.
The Conex Bänninger exhibit was the show winner with hands-on demonstrations of the soon to be released MaxiPro press fittings for copper tube in refrigeration applications. The stand attracted a big crowd as they were taken through the product capabilities and ease of use – it was the talk of the show!
Visits were up on the 2014 show with Tuesday 17 May seeing 3020 visits, Wednesday 18 May seeing 3677 visits and Thursday 2143 visits. A total overall increase of 13.6 percent from 2014.
