R U OK Day

14 September 2017

Today marks the National R U OK? Day, encouraging us to have the conversation with our mates, or anyone struggling with life and together make a difference on preventing suicide.

Suicide prevention can be a tough subject, but asking your mates just three little words can go a long way. Why? Because a key part of those struggling feel like they’re a burden, making it hard for them to connect with others.

That’s where you come in, because you’ve got what it takes to make a difference. Got a feeling one of your mates is seeming a bit agitated, withdrawn or just not themselves? Check out the chart below on how to start the conversation today. Even if your mate is okay, they'll be grateful to know you've got their back and took the time to ask.
