Unlike other pumps, Submersible Pumps are designed to sit in submerged water. What allows it to sit under water? The motor is sealed and close-coupled to the body of the pump.

Types of Submersible Pumps

There are different Submersible Pumps for different applications, such as cutter pumps and grinder pumps. Cutter pumps help with sewerage and general waste by cutting up clogs so they can pass easily into the wastewater system. Similarly, we have grinder pumps that grind up garbage to be pushed through the discharge pipe.
