• Sonny and Alicia's bathroom and ensuite reveals

    Sonny and Alicia, a fun-loving couple married for 10 years with three energetic kids, were thrilled to finally make it onto The Block 2025 after just missing out last season. With a home build and granny flat reno under their tool belts, they say they're not total rookies—but not exactly renovation royalty either.

Sonny, 44

Sonny, a hardworking plumber with 25 years under his toolbelt, runs his own business and lives an active life on the Gold Coast, where he enjoys swimming and touch footy. Originally from Hobart, he’s strong-minded and fair—and with a knack for writing, he’s ready to bring more than just muscle to The Block this year.

Alicia, 42

With her big laugh and warm nature, Alicia is ready to take on the role of The Block’s resident mum—just like she does at home on the Gold Coast. Straight-talking and conflict-ready, she’s not one to bottle things up and loves nothing more than hitting the beach with her family for a swim.
