00:13 our key customers and see civil I'm Greg
00:15 from rehau on the south Queensland civil
00:18 product manager for our shaft so we're
00:21 here with again with re-civil and C
00:23 civil to work through training process
00:26 with the team Craig from sea civil I had
00:28 the luxury of doing the first couple of
00:31 trial runs on the rehau pits sort of
00:33 Midway through last year on on stage one
00:35 now we're into stage two and been given
00:38 the go ahead from Gold Coast Council and
00:40 store 28 more of them so yeah so we got
00:43 you said 28 more so we've we've hit
00:45 stage two of the project as previously
00:48 mentioned stage one we've got the uh the
00:50 initial go ahead for a trial to
00:51 introduce it into the infrastructure
00:54 obviously working in Alliance with rehau
00:56 and resival to our customer and our own
00:58 user Gold Coast water and waste we all
01:01 obviously saw the opportunity that c
01:03 civil being the principal contractor
01:05 could utilize this product in lieu of
01:07 the typical Precast or in situ paw
01:10 method and that's where we came up with
01:12 the Innovation to introduce this in the
01:14 network on a larger scale
01:16 uh-huh as you said 60 pallets arrived
01:18 last week about three semi-trailers
01:20 worth so it was fantastic to watch that
01:22 roll in on the site and we've just
01:24 obviously gone through a bit more of a
01:26 an introductory about what the product
01:28 is to some of the subcontractors and to
01:30 understand a bit more about what we uh
01:33 can obviously govern and and align with
01:36 the contractor themselves to install and
01:38 make a bit more ease of use as well yeah
01:40 so what we've I went through is a
01:42 process and it's something that we at
01:44 rehab pride ourselves on is training uh
01:47 all of the contractors so that
01:48 everybody's got a really clear
01:49 understanding of how the product goes in
01:51 the ground and the process of getting
01:54 everything into place without any other
01:56 issues the ultimate goal is to get these
01:58 into ground so that we have that minimum
01:60 Hundred Year lifespan and to get that
02:02 ticket to that point we need to put them
02:03 in the ground properly starting this
02:05 morning uh we had six or eight
02:08 subcontractors here I've gone through
02:11 the process of the installation and next
02:13 week we'll be down in the trench with
02:15 them making sure that the first couple
02:17 go on the ground correctly and that will
02:19 set the Benchmark for the rest of the
02:21 project earlier Craig you mentioned as
02:23 well a bit of a key Point as to why
02:25 we've obviously introduced this product
02:26 and what's really captured the ideas a
02:29 bit more of an efficiency thing oh
02:30 definitely an efficiency thing mate like
02:32 you can build one of these five six
02:34 meters in one day where Bill for it in
02:36 situ you're limited to your you know
02:38 your 2.5 Fremantle lifts in one day and
02:41 then you've got to form it up strip it
02:43 all down back fill it all it's just yeah
02:45 I suppose as innovation of the product
02:48 itself a lightweight product
02:50 obviously reduce a lot of risk of safety
02:53 and any Dam any risk of health and
02:55 safety risk from our
02:57 subcontractors using the product and
02:59 again the training that we've been able
02:60 to introduce is obviously going to
03:01 assist with knowing the right methods of
03:03 ways of installing and the speed as you
03:06 mentioned as well so yeah well the
03:08 comparison with the rehab hits versus
03:10 concrete one thing you can build these
03:12 in the back corner where you can't get a
03:14 concrete truck too you can just carry
03:16 these down on the Backhoe or you know an
03:18 excavator or the back of you exactly
03:21 where you can't get a concrete cut too
03:23 because it's wet water charge ground or
03:24 whatever so there is there is a number
03:27 of number of things there why we've sort
03:29 of gone towards the rehab hits
03:31 concrete's expensive
03:33 trying to get concrete right now the
03:36 industry is flat out so I think we're
03:38 three weeks we've got a book Concrete in
03:40 about three weeks yep and these guys
03:42 I'll ring them up tomorrow and it'll be
03:43 here the next day so I think to
03:45 reiterate on the stockholding side of
03:47 things we have a had a massive luxury
03:50 with the truck and three truck and
03:53 trailer loads of gear turning up on site
03:56 comfortably without having to really
03:59 wait at all
04:01 with the process and the stockholding
04:04 throughout the Race network is is huge
04:06 and it's a real benefit to to rehealth
04:10 as a as a supplier through that Race
04:13 network it gives us a massive advantage
04:15 on ground yeah and they're lightweight
04:17 so you can just drive up a unit up to
04:18 them pick them up put them onto a ute
04:20 and take them where you've got to go
04:21 where yeah if it was pre-cast you'd need
04:24 a backhoe or a loader to move the
04:26 Precast as Greg mentioned as well about
04:28 our importing of the goods that come in
04:31 over from Europe where obviously readily
04:34 stocking as much as we possibly can I
04:36 think initially we had what was called
04:38 the Great Wall of orange down in the NDC
04:41 um a few shipping containers at a time
04:43 will tend to have and then Distributing
04:46 throughout a network and as we gain
04:47 these more further acceptances from
04:49 councils obviously on the back of the
04:52 City of Gold Coast to support the the
04:55 use of these products we will gain and
04:56 probably grow our stock Holdings which
04:58 will again shorten the late times and
05:00 and be able to be more versatile to be
05:03 able to deliver these products
05:04 and I think working through that even
05:06 further a lot of the Civil branches have
05:10 a small amount of stock in every branch
05:13 and that gives us an ability to supply
05:15 within hours in most cases as you were
05:18 just saying then precast concrete you
05:20 can't call up and require you know an
05:22 extra couple of Chambers or a manual
05:24 base we actually had the fortune to be
05:27 able to have those stock items readily
05:29 available
05:30 damaged goods on site we can obviously
05:32 replace in a timely manner and that's
05:34 about having that distribution Network
05:36 we've got looking at the arbor shaft
05:38 from a whole of Life perspective is
05:40 something that councils are starting to
05:42 really focus on the arbor shaft as it
05:44 stands today we're looking at a minimum
05:46 100 Year design life and that's not the
05:49 end of its life that's the minimum
05:50 design life so that's effectively when
05:52 we really should start looking at
05:54 replacing and looking at what's going on
05:56 with them concrete typically in a sewer
05:59 system if it's got a little bit of gas
06:00 attack will deteriorate over time but
06:02 I've also seen manholes that have lasted
06:04 very very poorly and some of them
06:06 assured a life is five years this is
06:08 where our shaft can really come in and
06:09 give the Queensland councils an assured
06:12 asset for that long life whole of Life
06:15 solution and that's really where these
06:17 things as large holes in the ground are
06:20 really proving to be a massive asset for
06:24 the future we've got um a very large
06:27 group of councils utilizing our shaft at
06:30 the moment right up and down the Eastern
06:32 Seaboard but in saying that also moving
06:34 out into the central Queensland right
06:37 through to mount Isaac cloncurry and as
06:41 the awareness I think is probably the
06:43 biggest part comes through and the more
06:45 and more that these Council Engineers
06:47 understand what our shaft can do for
06:50 their asset we're gaining a bigger and
06:54 bigger part of that market and supply
