Week 5: Master Ensuite Week

Fan couple Tanya & Vito may have renovated several of their own homes before, but there’s nothing like a Block bathroom week! Together with Reece, they went from dreaming to doing, to create this stunning contrasting bathroom.

Tanya & Vito opted for a celebration of all things black and brown. Stepping away from their signature bright colours, their choices raised more than a few eyebrows on The Block this week but the proof is in the pudding and we’re big fans.

This Fans team also has a Block first in the AXA Uno rimless toilet in matte black. The toilet’s elegant soft square design is paired perfectly with other fixtures and looks right at home. The dark timber ISSY Halo I vanity is another feature of the space, harmoniously combining the dark colour palette with plenty of functionality.

A clever use of lighting, including large skylights, meant their choice of darker, matte black Mili Pure fixtures throughout was softened.

Tanya & Vito introduced curved lines and shapes through the inclusion of multi-arched shower glass, a shape continued by a pair of Kado Neue shaving cabinets. We’d be happy to staycation in style in this luxe space!

Week 2: Main Bathroom Week

All-rounders Tanya & Vito take inspiration from the Mediterranean coast to create this earthy and oh-so-grounding space. Learn how Reece ran with their vision and helped them realise the bathroom of their dreams.

Terracotta and peach tones set the mood, offset by textured white walls. The secluded shower area is tucked away at the rear, yet cleverly lit with the help of a skylight.

In such a tactile and varied space, the Kado Lussi thin-edged freestanding bath helps to lend a soft touch.

The resort-like atmosphere is continued with a his & hers Posh Domaine vanity, topped off with round vessel basins. The pair have perfectly mixed rustic charm and modern refinement, opting for matte black Milli Pure tapware and wall sconces as well as stylish arched mirrors.

It’s a great example of how a clear colour palette can be executed, from feature walls to the tiniest of details.
