Draincoil is a versatile corrugated piping ideal for a range of drainage applications including underground piping and drainage, and sewer works. Draincoil can come in a range of sizes, is available slotted or unslotted, and with or without an RTA (now Roads & Maritime Services) approved filter sock. The Reece range of Draincoil includes any and all types you need for all of your drainage projects and applications. Choose from sizes ranging up to 200m lengths and 100mm wide.

Draincoil is typically installed beneath landscaping and road works where natural drainage is not adequate and the area is prone to flooding. Filter socks are used to prevent fine grained foreign material like sand from entering the slotted gaps and helps to set the material around the piping and stop it from sagging. Draincoil filter socks are still available with an RTA approval stamp which relates to the Roads & Maritime Services approval rating for Draincoil use in NSW road construction. It is a basic guide to use when selecting the filter sock you require for your own drainage project.
