00:18 Australia and New Zealand. There's a lot
00:19 of advantages from using a press tool.
00:21 Um certainly in both refrigeration and
00:24 plumbing. You don't need hot work
00:26 permits. It's quicker and it's a lot
00:29 cleaner. One of the good things about
00:31 dealing with Rothberger is we stand
00:33 behind our tools no matter what. So if
00:36 we take our jaws for example, they're
00:38 manufactured in Europe and they are made
00:40 from highly stressable and flexible
00:43 special steel. And the final two
00:44 processes are the machining of the
00:46 blanks to the profile that's required
00:49 and then laser hardening of the form
00:52 within the jaw to give it double the
00:54 life of our previous jaws. As an
00:57 engineer, the most exciting part of our
00:58 manufacturing process is the drop forge.
01:01 It's it's a 70 ton mold that drops onto
01:04 the hot steel and creates the shape of
01:07 the press jaw or the pliers or other
01:10 hand tools. Job forging is one of the
01:12 best ways to create premium tools
01:15 because it's strong, it's reliable, and
01:19 you get a perfect tool every time. So,
01:21 the majority of our tools are made and
01:23 designed in house from the initial
01:25 concept all the way through to the CAD
01:28 designs through to the trial product
01:31 through to the field testing right
01:33 through to the end user. We utilize end
01:36 users in our field testing. So when we
01:38 bring a product to the market, it's not
01:40 just a design our engineers have come up
01:42 with. It's a design that the end user
01:45 wants to use. So we changed the market
01:47 from 1967 with the expander tool which
01:50 changed the way plumbers join copper. We
01:52 then have continued to innovate. We
01:54 introduced press with Reece in 2011, Maxi
01:58 Pro in 2017 and we continue to work
02:01 closely with Reece to look at what their
02:04 customers need not just for today but
02:06 for five and 10 years in the future. So
02:09 the reliability of the Rothenberger jaws
02:10 is second to none. Through the quality
02:12 control, the batch testing, the laser
02:15 hardening, you can get 15,000 presses
02:18 out of one jaw.
