Victorian father-daughter duo Rick and Tayla are bringing decades of building experience and an unbreakable bond to The Block. With Rick's career spent building homes and Tayla's determination to learn from the best, they're ready to tackle every challenge. Follow their bathroom and ensuite reveals throughout the season.
Family Bathroom and Powder Room
Like many real-life renovations, things didn't go entirely to plan for Tayla and Rick. Despite some smart suggestions from Scotty Cam, their bathroom wasn't completed in time for reveal day, leaving some finishing touches still to come. Check back soon to see the completed space.

Rick, 63
A builder with more than 40 years’ experience, Rick has worked on over 100 residential projects. From apprentice carpenter to high-end home builder, he loves creating homes people are proud of. On The Block, he'll be leading the build and keeping the site running smoothly.
Tayla, 32
A personal trainer and business owner, Tayla brings motivation, determination and plenty of energy to The Block. Having learnt about renovating from her dad, she'll be taking charge of design and styling while embracing the challenge alongside Rick.
